Bulgarian Anatomical Society - BAS

Founded: February 6, 1962 in Sofia with the main goal of bringing together the scientific community of anatomists in Bulgaria and stimulating the national and international exchange of scientific and professional knowledge.

BAS - Main objectives

To organize scientific activities by periodically holding scientific meetings and training courses at its branches with the aim of raising the professional standards of anatomists. To work in close collaboration with scientific societies of clinicians.

To discuss and make recommendations to the Ministry of Health regarding the participation of Bulgarian scientists in international scientific events, as well as to raise other important issues related to the Society’s activities.

To support organizing committees in planning and conducting national conferences, congresses, symposia, and workshops.
